Porcelain Veneers to Correct Protruded and Spaced Teeth

There are many indications for artistically using porcelain veneers.  In this particular case, this young lady had protruded front teeth, gaps between the teeth, and different colored teeth.  Orthodontic treatment, braces, could have been used, however, when orthodontic treatment was complete she still would have needed to have porcelain veneers to correct the undersized teeth and facial discolorations. On the other hand, she had no desire to have braces. With these considerations, advanced porcelain veneer techniques were used to create this smile.  Please note how the protrusiveness of the teeth has been considerably improved and allows a more natural lip profile as well.  In addition to this affect the spaces where closed without the appearance of large teeth.  These situations can treated and the desired results seen by artistically shaping and contouring the veneers. The colors where built into the porcelain and the porcelain over the dark tooth modified to block out the color and blend in with the other porcelain veneers. Treating complex cosmetic dentistry cases such as this, requires forethought, planning, and artistic skills to achieve natural and attractive results. In our office, we use Houston porcelain veneers for many situations as it is more conservative than doing porcelain crowns and saves natural tooth structure. If you have any questions about Houston Cosmetic Dentistry, or Houston TMJ treatment, please do not hesitate to call our office as we welcome the opportunity to assist you. Ronald W.
