Porcelain Veneers for two Lateral Incisors

There are many indications for porcelain veneers.  They can be used for a number of cosmetic issues that do no involve all the teeth.  In this case, the lateral incisors had bonding on them for over many years and it had started to come off and to discolor.  These lateral incisors were initially undersized as well. The advent of advanced porcelains allows for the use of conservative porcelain veneers on these teeth  to correct the length and width of these teeth to better proportions for her smile.  Note the details in the shading of the veneers.  It is also important to point out that these are very conservative as they were made from a very strong ceramic that was about .3 to .4 mm thick.  In this case Emax was used.  To enhance the flow of the teeth with one another a laser gingivectomy was also completed to allow for widening of the tooth.
