How It Works
The surgery can be performed in any part of the mouth but is typically only requested in the areas that a patient’s smile typically highlights. While most patients consider this surgery to be conclusive, others like to pair it with other procedures, such as adding porcelain veneers to chipped or discolored teeth. We provide both of these services for our clients, as we feel that they are sometimes necessary for a healthy-looking smile.
Before the gum lift, we recommend a consultation visit, which consists of the following:
- Dr. Konig will look at your teeth, taking pictures and measurements.
- He will view your smile from multiple angles to best capture his measurements.
- Dr. Konig will individually measure your teeth, which allows him to determine the best way to modify your smile.
- During this time, you can also let Dr. Konig know what you want out of your smile so that he can adapt his measurements to your specifications.
Since we’d like you to have exactly the smile you wish to, we value your input during the initial visit.
