A Case of Porcelain Veneers and Dental Implants

There are multiple ways to restore dental implants and to design porcelain veneers.  This lady presented with a hopeless tooth, the upper left central incisor, which needed to be removed secondary to trauma as child.  Her goal was a beautiful and white smile and to use an implant versus a bridge to replace the to tooth to be removed.

After removing the left central incisor and placing an implant, a crown and veneers were used to create a radiant smile.

The tissue around the implant was carefully preserved during the implant placement.  This allowed for a very natural appearing implant crown to be designed.  The patient never went without a tooth as a temporary implant crown was placed at the time the tooth was removed.

Her smile was designed according to her desires.  Note the high glaze on the veneer and implant crown creating a radiant smile. Teeth whitening was used on her bottom teeth opposed to veneering.  The upper teeth were minimal prep veneers so as to be very conservative.

An elated patient with a beautiful smile.
