This patient is a gentleman who was breaking teeth, already had missing teeth, was experiencing difficulty eating, and found himself not wanting to smile. We provided comprehensive dental care with dental implants, crowns, bite correction, and veneers to create a beautiful and functional smile with long-term stability.
Bite management treatment, and then veneers and crowns to the corrected bite. Dental implants were also completed on some of the back teeth. Looking at the whole patient rather than just the teeth allowed for these results and more conservative treatment on the teeth as they were built back up as opposed to grinding them down like conventional dentistry.
This patient had an accident which broke the right front tooth and fractured the left which had to be removed. An immediate dental implant was placed. The white part is a “custom abutment” that was custom made to mimic the size and shape of her natural tooth. It is Zirconium which is white as opposed to using metal. This helps us to achieve excellent esthetics. You can see by looking how we worked to preserve the natural gum contours around the tooth so that the implant crown will look natural. All ceramic crowns were custom shaded to blend in with the adjacent natural teeth.
