This patient presented for a consult on porcelain veneers with a primary concern of worn and aged front teeth. The back side of the front teeth were worn very thin and she had an overbite. This was due to her misaligned bite and four bicuspid extractions. When discussing her bite, it was found that she had headaches and neckaches consistently which was in reality a TMJ issue. By correcting her bite we eliminated the headaches, neckaches, and were better able to restore her teeth to health and excellent esthetics with porcelain veneers, and very conservative onlays on the back teeth. Please note that nothing except recontouring was completed on the lower front four teeth.
She now enjoys a beautiful smile and pain free life and no more overbite!
