Short Worn Teeth and Migraines Corrected Non-surgically

MigrainesĀ or headachesĀ  that are related to your biteĀ  are very common.Ā  People often wonder how the way their teeth meet together can cause migraines.Ā  This case shows aĀ  lady who had seen multiple medical physicians and was on medications for migraines.Ā  Dr. Konig, utilizing physiologic bite correction, goes beyond cosmetic dentistry and is able to, in most cases, correctĀ underbites,Ā overbites, misaligned jaws, and correctĀ TMJ pain.

In this case, her misaligned bite which caused her to wear down her teeth and also have sleep apnea and migraines,  was corrected non-surgically before the teeth were restored.

Dr. Konig explains, ā€ We utilize techniques to find the most optimal bite and muscle function and test drive this bite before any permanent changes are made.ā€

This treatment results in improved health of the patient without the risk of jaw surgery and provides much improved profiles, airway, function of the teeth and jaw, and cosmetics.  This is why these procedures are often referred to as Facelift Dentistry which changes the lower 1/3 of the face, something no plastic surgery can achieve.  Porcelain veneers  alone cannot correct these issues.

Additionally, she has no more migraines or TMJ issues and a more youthful smile.
