This case shows how a complex cosmetic dentistry cases can have beautiful results. The challenges and patients concerns were:
- Baby tooth failing
- Hypo-calcification of her teeth
- Short and worn teeth
- Gummy Smile
She has always desired a less gummy smile, larger teeth, and natural aesthetics. The conventional approach with dentistry would have been to place new veneers and a bridge. this would not acheive the results desired and she would still have had a gummy smile and short teeth.
With advanced planning and smile design, we completed a gum lift, removed the baby tooth and placed a dental implant, and made her teeth more proportional in size for her face. Note the beautiful tissue result around the implant as well.
