Widening the Narrow Smile with Porcelain Veneers

There are many artistic and creative ways that porcelain veneers can be used for cosmetic dentistry to change smiles.  Veneers can be for much more than just color changes. In the photos shown above, our patient was unhappy with the color and shape of her smile.  She complained of a “Bugs Bunny” appearance.  If you can notice the tucked in appearance of all the teeth except the two front ones.

Note the narrow smile and discolored teeth Non-prep Porcelain Veneers to Widen the smile

To correct these issues and create the smile that our patient desired, non-prep veneers were used on all the teeth except the two central incisors.  Additionally, a gumlift using lasers with no pain was completed.  The photos show the significant improvement in the smile. There is a time and place for the use of non-prep veneers or minimal prep veneers and this is an excellent case to use them.
