Which Tooth Is The Dental Implant

Achieving  excellent results  with Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry is a skill that requires attention to details.  These details are needed from the surgical phase to preservation of tissue and the porcelain design.  Looking at this photo, can you determine which tooth was extracted and an implant placed?

The implant is marked with the arrow in the picture below.

If you notice how healthy the tissue is around the dental implant and how the porcelain blends in with the other teeth.  In this particular case, when the tooth was removed, an implant was immediately placed and a temporary crown designed to preserve the natural tissue architecture.  After 90 days of healing the long term porcelain restorations were placed.

There are numerous artistic options that can be utilized to help create natural and healthy dental implant crowns.
