In the case above, this lady presented with short, worn, damaged, and discolored teeth. The teeth had been damaged due to a bad bite which caused the wear as well as TMJ pain and neck pain. Functional cosmetic dentistry with computerized instrumentation was used to determine to correct bite for her comfort, TMJ, and neck and then the teeth were restored to this position with veneers and posterior crowns. This allowed for the teeth to be restored to their proper length and function as well as proper cosmetics.
Notice the difference in the amount of teeth that are displayed with the new veneers and how the smile follows the lip line. These veneers were also designed with tranlucency to create a vitality and luster without opaqueness.
