This case is to share how complex cosmetic dentistry cases can be treated to achieve optimal results. Our patient presented with short and worn teeth that had been restored previously. She was unhappy with the cosmetics, spaces, color, and not being able to properly bite into her food. Using high tech diode lasers, we completed a gum lift for her and then proceeded to removing the unsightly crowns on the upper four front teeth. These teeth were rebuilt and all porcelain crowns placed along with Houston porcelain veneers on the the upper side teeth and the lower teeth. In additon to correcting the cosmetic deficiencies, we also corrected and stabilized her bite for long term health and being able to properly bite into her food as well. Using proper planning and technology, we were able to complete case in two treatment visits. Furthermore, the use is the laser is painless and produces no post operative discomfort. Note the dramatic differences that the gum lift coupled with all ceramic crowns and porcelain veneers made to this young lady and her life.
