TMJ Pain Relief
We just finished seeing an out-of-town patient whom we have been treating for severe TMJ pain. He had advanced degenerative joint disease (DJD) that had been affecting his life since the symptoms included severe ear pain, limited opening, and headaches. These symptoms were so bad that he had been to neurologists (who ruled out medical issues), had been treated by several dentists, and had been to the hospital as well.
Today, he is pain free. We did the final check on this patient and he is extremely happy as treatment has changed his life. Without the technology and continuous advanced neuromuscular training, it would not have been possible to achieve what we can today.
I must say that this is one of the true pleasures of being a TMJ Dentist, the gratification of truly changing somone’s quality of life.
