TMJ and HEADACHES
Our TMJ patient whom we have been treating for 2 weeks came in the office today elated!
She advised us that she no longer has headaches, her neck and shoulders feel better as well as her jaw muscles. This is something that happens weekly in our office. However, not everyone gets such complete relief in two weeks.
The amazing thing is how many patients suffer these symptoms which are due to the way their teeth align with the jaw and skull. Truly TMJ is a highly unknown factor in the medical field. Whereas there are many doctors who recognize this problem, a large percentage are not aware of the problems that it causes. It is for this reason that so many of our patients have seen neurologists, ENTs, psychiatrists, and even had MRIs and CAT scans.
