Smiles and Your Health: Houston Cosmetic Dentist

I found a truly interesting article in the Wall Street Journal today that was based on research about smiles.  This is not an article about  improving your smile or cosmetic dentistry, but rather how smiling affects your health!  After reading the article, it truly seems to make sense:  The first paragraph is as follows: Smiling could be good for your health. Researchers are finding that wearing a smile brings certain benefits, like slowing down the heart and reducing stress. This may even happen when people aren’t aware they are forming a smile, according to a recent study. The work follows research that established that the act of smiling can make you feel happier.   Woman holding arms up in surprise Stock Photo - 10384460 The article further states that this can you can influence your mental health by what you do with your face.  It goes on to say that there is a link with a smile to brain that influences your health. For those who are interested in this article the link is: https://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142412788732369970457832636360144436… I hope that you find this interesting and of course, a white and beautiful smile goes along way too!
