Dental porcelain veneers can be used in many ways to correct dental overbite problems and to correct the angulation of the teeth. The photos show a lady who did not like the protrusion of her teeth, had small lateral incisors that were an odd shape and a discolored front tooth with gaps between her teeth. Orthodontic treatment was an option to consider which could have helped to align the teeth, however, after orthotodontic treatment, porcelain veneers still would have been needed to correct the odd shaped teeth and discolored tooth. Careful planning and analyzing her case enabled us to create this beautiful smile. The dental porcealin veneers were designed to “roll back” the protrusive teeth and to allow for better symmetry and tooth shape. This situation is a case where cosmetic dentistry skills and artistry come into play to create amazing Houston Cosmetic Dentistry results. Note the dramatic change on the profile shots.
