There is no doubt that a nice smile gives enhances ones confidence and self -esteem. I am referring to cases of extreme smile makeovers that we have completed for patients and they have come back to share with us that this was a life changer for them. An article in Psychology Today reports so many benefits of smiling and is quite interesting. The cases I am mentioning are not just movie stars or famous individuals but our everyday friends and acquaintences. Just recently we received a photo from our patient on vacation sharing how much she loves her new smile. Another patient, (see photos) expressed how his new smile seems natural and has allowed him to progress with his career and also has noticed how others respond more favorably to him socially and professionally. The psycological aspects are amazing to see and it is a joy to be able to contribute to these life changing experiences.
