Worn and Broken Teeth: Correct the Bite and Cosmetics To Create a Lasting and Attractive Smile

Worn and Broken Teeth: Correct the Bite and Cosmetics To Create A Lasting and Attractive Smile

Ever wonder why some people have teeth that are worn and broken whereas others do not?
If you are one these people and are considering cosmetic dentistry, please consider correcting your bite otherwise you could possibly do the same damage to the new dental care. If your bite is correctly neuromuscularly, you should not continually break teeth and crowns.
Look at this way, why would someone restore teeth to the same bite in which they were so badly wearing and breaking?
The photos above illustrate photos of a patient who came to our office for cosmetics. His teeth were badly worn and broken. Prior to and during the dental care for cosmetics, we corrected his bite. This is will enable the new porcelain veneers to last a long time as well as provided additional comfort for the patient.
If you have any questions about neuromuscular dentistry or cosmetic dentistry, please feel free to call the office of Ronald W. Konig DDS, FAGD, LVIF, a Houston Neuromuscular Dentist and Houston Cosmetic Dentist. 713-668-2289
